Did you know that there is a fully operational flower shop located inside a high school, that is open to the public? There is! Metro Tech High School Floral Club is a CTE (Career & Technical Education) program where students learn not only how to run & operate the flower shop but they also learn the art of floral design. Students leave the class at the end of the year with a Floral Design Certification and with plenty of skills they can add to their resume such as; cash handling, customer service skills, phone etiquette, sales, inventory, and much more! This program is the only one like it in the United States and maybe even the world. It is AMAZING and has helped clients such as Arizona Diamondbacks, The Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Community Foundation, Phoenix Police Foundation, and many more community members with their floral needs. The Floral shop designs everyday arrangements & bouquets, as well as centerpieces for corporate events, funeral work, and wedding work when available. Metro Tech Floral Club is one of many extracurricular activities that Support My Club has been able to strengthen thanks to our incredible network of generous donors!
