Philanthropy Bar 10 Recap

Support My Club celebrated its 10th anniversary on Arizona Gives Day and we’re still processing the incredible generosity and excitement we received from our community. 60 students showcased their talents, highlighting the impact of our vision and mission. Thank you to our sponsors, EY, Mullin360, and American Resort Communities for making this evening come to life. Big thanks to Kim Covington and student co-emcee, Starlight, from South Mountain Journalism & Broadcasting who rocked the mic all night. Congratulations to our award honorees, Principal James Arndt, Phoenix 20-30 Club, and Mayor Kate Gallego. We were also surprised with two generous checks from our friends at Phoenix 20-30 Club. Arizona, you rock!

There were over 11 high school clubs and teams in attendance showcasing their impressive talent. These clubs included: Betty Fairfax Boys Basketball, Betty Fairfax Key Club, Camelback Esports, Camelback Psychology, Camelback Student Government, Metro Tech Weightlifting, North Art Students, Paradise Honors Catering, Phoenix Coding Academy Robotics, Western School of Science and Technology Cheer, and Western School of Science and Technology Peer Solutions. Some of the highlights include the cheer team performing pyramids and chanting SMC at the event, Robotics driving their competitive robots around the event, Weightlifting students lifting huge weights around the event, the basketball team teaching people how to spin a basketball, and the esports team competing with people in some of their competitive video games. All student clubs and teams received a portion of the proceeds from this event.

Thank you our incredible community of students, educators, donors, and leaders who came out to celebrate our 10th year of student engagement. Philanthropy Bar 10 was a special night in SMC history! #strongerstudents #strongerschools #strongercommunities #Philbar10
