WHY:Chocolate milk has been identified as the most economical post-workout recovery nutritional item. Our athletes work extremely hard during their strength and conditioning sessions. Often, they do not have adequate nutritional intake in their daily diets to aid in recovery. Chocolate milk has the optimal ratio of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, deemed sufficient to aid in quick recovery and feed the muscle tissues necessary replacement and maintenance of adequate glycogen levels. It also contains essential amino acids and some electrolytes.
