The goal of Camp Inspire is to facilitate a greater respect and understanding of all people and to help develop the necessary leadership skills amongst the delegates so that they may return to school and their communities as agents of positive change.
Participants will . . .
• develop awareness about all forms of prejudice and discrimination and their harmful effects on individuals, groups, community and society.
• improve leadership skills and recognize the positive impact they can have on their families, friends, school and community.
• learn and develop strategies on how to combat bias, bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination.
• learn to become more aware of stereotyping attitudes and behaviors and how to decrease their frequency.
