South Ridge High

South Ridge is a small, dynamic college-preparatory high school that fosters a cohesive populace of enlightened learners who give back to their communities. South Ridge offers a demanding academic program with an emphasis on student learning and achievement.  Students receive rigorous instruction from a highly qualified faculty who are experts in their field.  South Ridge is a standards-based school where best practices and the latest educational research are used to create an optimum learning environment for each of its students.  South Ridge features a comprehensive curriculum with opportunities for honors, advanced placement, and dual enrollment classes.

South Ridge High School serves a diverse population of students. Many SRHS students are 1st or 2nd generation citizens in the United States.  Parents of SRHS students are predominately middle and working class, with employment in construction, service industries, and small family businesses.  Most parents of SRHS students have earned a high school diploma, but the majority of SRHS parents have not received a college degree.
