Paradise Valley High School's Culinary Club exists to promote careers in the culinary arts as a vocation alternative to students evaluating their educational and career options. Our program exposes students to food sciences, advanced food preparation techniques in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, guest chefs, kitchen tours of top restaurants, as well as hands-on experience in all aspects of running a catering business that services events throughout the community.
While we recognize that not all students will pursue higher culinary education or choose a culinary career path, all students leave the program with skills that they will undoubtedly use throughout their lives. Ultimately, our goal is to foster a love of food, and nothing is more satisfying than to hear from former students about how the Culinary Club has changed their lives.
While the school has invested in the facilities, Paradise Valley's Culinary Club is in many respects self-supporting. Many of our students come from economically-challenged backgrounds. Therefore, in order to maintain a high level of instruction, we rely in part on the generosity of industry partners and the public for donations of time, talent, equipment, food and (of course) money. We invite any of our partners to come witness how we put to work your donations.
