The MHS Historian is the yearbook (design productions) club which documents the events of the year in a 210 page publication that is award winning every year and last year placed 2nd in the best of show contest nationally.
We publish the school yearbook. The book is paid for by ad sales and student book sales. We have struggled in the faltering economy to continue to provide our students with the best product available. We continue to be recognized by the NSPA and CSPA for excellence in our yearbook and have been featured repeatedly in Ideas That Fly, a publication produced by Herff Jones spotlighting quality programs. Our alumni are having tons of success: graphic designer working for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, past editor working as a Landscape Architect, past editor working as a successful blogger, past editor working for The Onion...and the list goes on. Their experiences transcend the yearbook community as they are teachers, firefighters, personal trainers and so on and so forth.
