We are one of the fastest growing and the most feared high school running programs in the Valley, and quite possibly the state! Our program has grown tenfold in only three years! We began in 2008 with only three runners; one female and two males. By 2011 we carried a roster of 30 student athletes. The following year we were one of only two schools in the Phoenix Union High School District to place both Men's and Women's teams in the AIA State Championships.
Our program embraces the concepts of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle through exercise and nutrition. The six pillars of character are at the core of our program: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
The Maryvale Panthers Cross Country Program will continue to become better citizens, better students, and build on the foundation we have started while we climb our pyramid of success.
We provide community support for local running events, and host middle school track and field meets.
