"Charging Fearlessly Toward Academic and Personal Excellence"

Cholla seeks to transform students into 21st Century global citizens able to communicate across cultural barriers and to function in a global society. Cholla is the only high school in TUSD and the first in Pima County to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which can earn students up to 36 college credit hours as well as significant scholarships.

Cholla students can also explore career options through CTE/JTED offerings, Law-Related Studies, and JROTC (Army). At Cholla, students are taught to take risks in learning and respect the learning of others, practice persistence, demonstrate responsibility, embrace international-mindedness, and build leadership in themselves and others. Cholla has AVID, which supports students with 21st Century skills to be college and career ready, and offers one of the strongest Arabic language programs in southern Arizona.
