Darryl Keeton II graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Darryl’s background includes 4.5 at Deloitte and Touché. He is the Executive Leader of Black Diamond Business Solutions, an innovative growth strategy consulting firm that helps small businesses in various industries scale to over $10 million in revenue. In 2017, he was recognized by the Kauffman Foundation as one of three entrepreneurs selected to attend the Ernst and Young Strategic Growth Forum and Entrepreneur of the Year Gala. In 2018, he started Sensagrate, a smart city infrastructure-to-vehicle communication platform. Last year, Mr. Keeton won first place in the Smart Infrastructure Challenge in the Safer, Smarter Streets track for $10 million in project financing. Darryl’s volunteer experiences include Team Lead for 1 Million Cups Phoenix, an organizer for Startup Weekend Phoenix, and was on the core team for the 2018 TechStars Startup Week PHX. Also, he is a member of Real Engagement of Activity Philanthropy (REAP), a male black philanthropy group, which has awarded SMC two grants in the last two years. When Darryl is not working, you will find him at a ski resort adventuring down black diamond ski trails and spending time with his family and friends.
